FAQs

Who are the competitors for the ORAC testing service?
Brunswick Laboratories is the inventor of the improved and automated ORAC method. This comprises both water and oil soluble assays. We have also developed a proprietary assay for testing antioxidant capacity against the hydroxyl radical (HORAC). While there is at least one other lab that claims to use the Brunswick ORAC method for water-soluble substances, we are not aware of any other company that provides the full range of high-throughput total antioxidant capacity testing.
