Brunswick Laboratories Offers Total Bioflavonoids Assay

Brunswick Laboratories LLC., located in Norton, MA., now offers a new analytical service for testing total bioflavonoids. Bioflavonoids are known for their antioxidant capabilities throughout the nutraceutical industry. Many important foods such as tea, red wine, citrus fruits, and vegetables all have bioflavonoids found within them. For example, well known bioflavonoids such as quercetin, epicatechins, and proanthocyanidins are found in a variety of fruits and vegetables. The newly developed and validated assay is a precise, accurate, and sensitive UV spectrophotometric method for routine quantification of total bioflavonoids, expressed as Hesperidin.
